Eyesore estate sparks artistic flair

Locals in a picture-perfect village in Co Kerry that once scooped the overall award in the Tidy Towns competition, have taken action to tackle the problem of an eyesore ghost estate.

Sneem Tidy Towns committee invited teenagers to paint murals to fit over the windows of the Cul Fadda estate at the entrance to the village.

The estate was abandoned before construction was completed.
