Kerry fears fallout of Shannon Development change

Reforms will see the agency take over the development of the Shannon Airport, and effectively replace its development remit in Tralee, with both the IDA and Enterprise Ireland.

The minister, on a visit to Tralee, visited leading international companies at Kerry Technology Park, which was set up and managed by Shannon Development. There are fears for the park’s future, given the change in Shannon’s remit announced last week.
