Priest takes five after sisters have babies baptised together

It’s just as well water metering hasn’t been introduced at a Co Limerick church.

Three sisters brought along their five babies to be christened in Doon, all in the one ceremony.

Parish priest Fr Tony Ryan ensured the holy water font was brimming when sisters, Sarah, Laura and Kate (born Ryan), from Gurtnakisteenm, Pallasgreen arrived with their two sets of twins and a baby girl wrapped in white baptismal robes.
