Abby in recovery after dog attack

A Galway toddler required 60 stitches after she was brutally attacked by a Siberian husky at the weekend.

Abby O’Donoghue, who will be four in a few weeks, is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing surgery in a Galway hospital for injuries suffered.

The vicious attack happened at a relative’s birthday party on Saturday at Ballynacally, about 16km outside Ennis in Co Clare.
