Access to credit for businesses and confidence in the survival of the euro are the greatest impediments to job creation, Taoiseach Enda Kenny admitted.

However, he insisted there were still investors keen on pumping money in to the country.

Launching the Government’s first quarterly review of its action plan on jobs, Mr Kenny said it was “absolutely critical” to keep moving the high level of confidence about Ireland.
