Father and son gardaí investigated for assault

A garda father and son are under investigation after allegedly assaulting two bouncers while off-duty.

The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission is investigating the case, which was passed on to them by the Garda Commissioner.

This is standard under Section 102 of the Garda Síochána Act in all cases where one of the parties involved is a garda.
