Drumm’s wife could get €1m from property sales

The wife of the former Anglo Irish Bank boss David Drumm has come to a final settlement with her husband’s bankruptcy trustee over the sale of three properties in the US and Ireland.

Under the agreement, Lorraine Drumm will give up her interest in all the homes but will receive half of the proceeds from the sale of the couple’s home in Malahide and some from a house in the Boston suburb of Wellesley. Ms Drumm could walk with €1m after the sale.

She faced losing everything after being accused of participating in “fraudulent actions” in connection with the properties.
