Hole in €1m: Golfers tee up for shot at fortune

It’s not a million-to-one shot — but a chance for the average club golfer to win a million.

While most weekend golfers will never get a chance to play like Rory McIlroy on the course, for one day in June at least they’ll get a chance to live like him — if they can manage a magical hole in one and pocket the seven-figure prize-winning cheque.

Each day from today until the end of May, all golfers who tee-off at the Druids Glen and Druids Heath courses in Co Wicklow will be entered into a draw.
