The seven-member troupe, which last Sunday won Sky’s ‘Got to Dance’ finale, is to be represented by the James Grant Group.
Prodijig, who incorporates cutting edge hip-hop with traditional Irish dancing, was the first Irish group to win the series, taking home £250,000 (€300,000) prize money.
Lead dancer and choreographer Alan Kenefick said the group was extremely excited to be working with such an impressive agent.
“We are all incredibly happy that the group believes in us. We have been in talks with our new management and they understand that this isn’t a one-time thing.
“We are making a commitment to make sure Prodijig will enjoy long-term success,” he said.
Alan, from Silversprings Court in Cork, said Prodijig has received many offers to make appearances on different shows but for the moment they are lying low.
The group has already enjoyed online success with its ‘Got to Dance’ winning performance receiving almost 400,000 views on YouTube.
Alan said that the group has been very busy since the final but he hopes to get home soon and spend some time with family and friends.
