Hospital will be built, vows minister

James Reilly insisted that the National Children’s Hospital would be developed, either at the Mater site in Dublin or elsewhere.

“This hospital will be built,” the health minister said, pointing out that the entire Government was committed to the project.

He said the decision would delay providing the best environment for children where they could get the best treatment in the country but the Government would consider the decision urgently.
