Hunt is on for holder of €4m ticket

Limerick is on the hunt for a winning multi-million euro lotto ticket.

With less than 60 days to go before the city picks up the dubious honour of having sold the largest unclaimed prize in lottery history, the National Lottery has launched a hunt the country’s newest millionaires.

The winning ticket bought in Limerick on New Year’s Eve is worth €4,164,479.
