Union suspends support for Croke Park deal over college job losses

The loss of two lecturing jobs at Trinity College has prompted the trade union for academics to suspend support for the Croke Park Agreement.

The Irish Federation of University Teachers was one of the last bodies to sign up to the agreement but has put that on hold following the redundancies at Trinity College.

The two lecturers from the school of social work, and one member of the library staff, lost their jobs last year.
