Castlewood House named world’s sixth best hotel

A BOUTIQUE-style guesthouse in Dingle has been voted the sixth best place to stay anywhere in the world by users of world-renowned travel guide Tripadvisor.

Castlewood House, which opened its doors in 2005, was classed as the best hotel in Ireland, the second best in Europe and the sixth in the world in the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Hotel awards.

The awards also placed Loch Léin Country House in Killarney and Strandhill Lodge and Suites Hotel in Sligo in the top 25 places to stay in the world.
