Dead man suffered injuries ‘consistent with an assault’

A POSTMORTEM on the body of a man found in a Clonmel apartment block was expected to reveal he was assaulted before his death.

Gardaí mounted a large-scale probe following the discovery of the body of Anthony Fallon. He was 46.

It is understood that Mr Fallon had “injuries which were consistent with an assault” when he was found at 6.52am yesterday.
