Troika warns Government of difficult months ahead

THE Government has been warned by the troika that the months ahead will be the most challenging in meeting budgetary targets and correcting Ireland’s finances.

As the EU, ECB, and IMF prepare to sign off on another review of Ireland’s troubled finances today, the focus will turn to the next round of pledges under the bailout.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny said officials visiting Dublin and inspecting Ireland’s obligations were frank about the coming months.
