TDs and senators return to Leinster House today as opposition mounts to a string of charges and cuts announced by the Government in last month’s budget.

The long-awaited Personal Insolvency Bill will be among at least 25 pieces of legislation which are expected to be agreed by the Cabinet today in its first meeting of the new year.
