La Senza staff stage store sit-in

STAFF from lingerie chain La Senza who lost their jobs have begun a sit-in at its Liffey Valley store over money they are owed by the company.

Trade union Mandate will meet administrator KPMG this morning to discuss the concerns of workers, who said they are owed overtime from December and pay for days worked in January.

KPMG has closed 84 stores and 18 concessions, resulting in more than half of the workforce losing their jobs across Britain and Ireland. None of the 15 Irish operations are to be saved.
