THE Department of Justice has rejected claims it plans to transfer work carried out at its payroll offices in Co Kerry to a government centre in the Midlands.

A reported 200 civil servants work in the Department of Justice’s financial shared services office in Killarney.

However, Independent Killarney town councillor Donal Grady has raised concerns for the future of department’s offices in the Kerry town.
