Companies line up to sign Irish X Factor star

RECORD companies are queuing up to sign Irish X Factor star Janet Devlin after it emerged she was the clear public favourite on the show.

The flame-haired singer said she has yet to sign on the dotted line as Simon Cowell’s record company, Syco, controlled the show’s acts.

After the final, it emerged the shy teenager was the public’s favourite when voting statistics revealed she won four out of the nine live shows. Amelia Lily came out on top twice but the winners Little Mix were frontrunner three times, including the final.
