President tells all in TV3 interview

NEWLY elected President Michael D Higgins has revealed how he misses his home city of Galway while also describing his elation at being crowned Ireland’s first citizen.

In their first keynote and personal interview since moving into the Áras, Mr Higgins and his wife Sabina reveal the changes to their lives as the family begin a seven-year term.

In an interview with Vincent Browne to be broadcast on TV3 tonight, Mr Higgins reveals his homesickness.
