HSE plan for neurological rehabilitation networks

THE HSE has drawn up a plan to deal more effectively with thousands of people affected by disabling neurological conditions.

HSE plan for neurological rehabilitation networks

The four-year plan involves setting up neuro-rehabilitation networks in each of the four HSE regions to promote the primary aim of supporting a person to optimise their ability to participate physically, psychologically, socially and economically in society.

One of the medical specialists attached to the National Rehabilitation Hospital is working part-time with HSE South to set up a structure for treatment in that region.
