Eco park to offer thrills ’n’ spills with safari-style boat rides

A SAFARI-STYLE boat ride through wetlands will be one of the features of a €4.2 million eco park due to open in Co Kerry early next year.

The project, jointly funded by Tralee Town Council and Fáilte Ireland, will add to the town’s attractions and is being developed on a site close to Aquadome, a water leisure facility.

It is hoped the Blennerville steam train, which operated alongside the 20-acre eco park site, will also be restored.
