3am buses to help get revellers back home

LATE-NIGHT revellers are being offered transport home to several satellite towns in Cork in a new initiative.

Bus Éireann’s Nightrider services from the city centre to Douglas, Carrigaline, Carrigtwohill, Midleton, Curraheen and Ballincollig will continue throughout the Christmas period.

The company will run the buses over the next three Friday and Saturday nights, with departures for each route at 1am, 2am and 3am.
