Tracking down thieves: there’s an app for that

TECH-SAVVY Niamh Sheffield used her Apple iPhone to catch a thief while on holidays in Spain this week.

Niamh from Athlone, Co Westmeath, had travelled to Malaga to spend a few days with her parents, Ina and Simon Cavanagh, who were on a two-week holiday.

Niamh, who works as a radiographer in St Vincent’s Care Centre in Athlone, recounted her story in an email to the Ray D’Arcy Show on Today FM.
