Alexandra and her Irish husband, James Kelly, attended the opening of yesterday’s art auction in Dublin that raised €60,000 for a prosthetic device so she can draw again.

Speaking briefly before the auction got under way at Adams Auctioneers in Blackrock, the Russian artist told how she felt ignored by the state after being viciously attacked and robbed in her apartment in Finglas, Dublin two years ago.
