Probe into UCC social outing chaos

UCC is carrying out an internal investigation following a social outing by students to Mallow, which ended in chaos.

More than 300 students took part in the trip organised by the Engineering Society, and some of them were said to have behaved like animals.

As a result of the incident, the Societies Guild, which oversees student societies in the university, has decided to disband the Engineering Society.
