Man crashed stolen vehicle into Garda car

A YOUNG man crashed a stolen Honda Civic into a Garda car injuring the driver and then sped off and did not stop until he crashed and wrote off the car.

The injured garda was out of work for weeks and the owner of the car lost his job because it was his only means of getting to work.

Jason Landy, aged 22, of 1 Rope Walk, Convent Road, Blackrock, Cork, pleaded guilty to stealing the car and driving it dangerously.
