Gang attacks motorist in Ballincollig

GARDAÍ were last night questioning a 16-year-old in connection with an horrific attack on a man in his 30s which left him requiring seven stitches to a deep head wound.

The man’s wife watched in horror as her husband became the victim of what appears to have been an unprovoked attack.

According to gardaí the man was driving through an estate in a Cork suburb when the attack took place.
