Town in Santa’s elves world record bid

A WORLD record attempt is to be made in Nenagh for the largest turnout ever of Santa’s elves this Christmas.

The event will be held in the town on Sunday, December 18, with hopes that it will get the north Tipperary town into the Guinness Book of Records.

The organisers Nenagh & District Chamber of Commerce says the record number for a turnout of Santa’s elves in one place currently stands at 607. “This Christmas in Nenagh, we hope to have 1,000 children in full elf costume break the record,” said chamber president Joe O’Connor.
