Trapattoni visit to boost Cliffs wonders of nature campaign

IRELAND football manager Giovanni Trapattoni is set to fulfil a promise to the operators of the Cliffs of Moher visitor attraction when he visits the beauty spot this week.

Last July, plans were well advanced for Trapp to visit the Clare landmark as part of a campaign to have it designated as one of the new seven wonders of nature.

The Italian was due to stage a press conference at the centre along with participating in a photo-call above the 600ft-high cliffs.
