RTÉ’s top presenters have vowed to remain working at the station — despite facing pay cuts in excess of 30% from their pre-recession earnings.

One of RTÉ’s best-paid stars, Ryan Tubridy, yesterday pledged his future to the station after its director general, Noel Curran, warned it could lose some of its leading broadcasters to rival stations over the cutbacks.

“I’m not going anywhere. I love my work in RTÉ,” said the Late Late Show presenter yesterday.
