Dana will remain in race despite quit threats

DANA will remain a presidential candidate despite her threats to pull out of the race.

But for the second day in a row, she will not participate in any public engagements — a highly unusual stance for a candidate in the middle of an election campaign.

The temporary withdrawal from the public eye comes after she spoke in Wednesday night’s RTÉ debate of her upset at “vile” and “untrue” allegations levelled against a family member.
