CORK city officials are still in talks with celebrity gardener Diarmuid Gavin over how his Sky Garden can be incorporated into a park earmarked for a €1.8 million revamp.

Council’s park plan could proceed without Gavin

City manager Tim Lucey said the local authority had “a working relationship” with the gardener.

However, it is understood that unless he agrees to come onboard soon, the city council will press ahead without him.
