Die-hard fans to pay €4k for last-minute trip

IF a patriotic urge encourages you to jump on a plane and fly to New Zealand to cheer Ireland on to their first rugby World Cup semi-final, be prepared to dig deep into those savings.

Die-hard fans to pay €4k for last-minute trip

While the majority of rugby nuts contacting travel agents for a package to New Zealand are waiting to see how next Saturday’s game against the Welsh pans out, some of the most die-hard fans are planning to jump on a plane this week to make it to Wellington. One of the main companies offering a whole host of rugby packages for the business end of the tournament is Killester Customised Travel Specialists.
