Warrant issued for man on bail

A LITHUANIAN who claimed the weekly social welfare of a man serving a prison sentence failed to turn up in court yesterday to face his own sentencing for the fraudulent claims.

Dimitrijs Kokosko, aged 21, was due before Cork District Court yesterday to be sentenced.

However, Kokosko’s solicitor, Eddie Burke, said: “He has returned to Lithuania.”
