SuperValu cashier charged with theft

A SUPERMARKET cashier was charged with 19 counts of theft yesterday, arising from the alleged stealing of almost €10,000 from the till at SuperValu in Carrigaline, Co Cork.

The Director of Public Prosecutions had indicated that the case could be dealt with at Cork District Court only on a plea of guilty.

Monika Wasinska, aged 28, was charged yesterday at Cork District Court with 19 counts of theft.
