Davis support

PRESIDENTIAL hopeful Mary Davis has secured the support of Galway County Council.

It was the first official vote in the country. Fourteen councillors voted in favour of the motion and there were six abstentions. The Special Olympics Europe managing director was one of six candidates who gave a presentation to the council.
