AN Irishman died yesterday in Australia, believed to have been a victim of a road accident.

Paul Rennick, in his 30s, from Greenfort Estate, Sligo town, was knocked down while walking on a dual carriageway in Melbourne. He moved to Australia last November.

He was a well-known member of Sligo Triathlon club, a keen surfer and was also involved in water safety awareness. He was a former student of Summerhill College, Sligo.
