EIGHT Honda 50s set off at dawn this morning from the highest pub in Ireland, The Top of the Coom, en route to the highest pub in England.

Tracy Daley, the owner of the Tan Hill Inn in Yorkshire, 1732ft above sea level, says she is eagerly awaiting the arrival of the men from Kerry early next week.

Three cyclists on push bikes have already set out from the Top of the Coom, 1043 ft above sea level, near Kilgarvan on the Cork-Kerry border.
