Girl aims to raise €10k in readathon

A 10-YEAR-OLD Clonmel girl whose mother has multiple sclerosis has pledged to read 20 books raising an estimated €10,000 during a nationwide “readathon” fundraiser for the disease.

Abigail O’Regan’s mother was diagnosed with MS shortly after Abigail was born.

“My mum gets really, really tired and has to sleep a lot,” she said.
