Murder probe

FRIENDS and family of murdered French woman Sophie Toscan du Plantier have welcomed the decision to allow French police to interview 30 witnesses here.

A high-level team from France is due to arrive next month and spend a week conducting interviews.

Ms Toscan du Plantier was battered to death outside her holiday home near Schull, in 1996.
