Four caught with €2.4m drugs

FOUR men have been arrested after gardaí seized 12kg of heroin, with a street value of around €8.4 million, yesterday.

The drugs were seized after gardaí from the Garda National Drugs Unit stopped and searched a number of cars off the Naas Rd at Kill, Co Kildare.

The four men, three in their 20s and one aged 51, were arrested and taken to Clondalkin garda station where they were detained under section two of the Drug Trafficking Act.
