Sound advice: Don’t overdo it

DON’T overdo it: that’s the advice issued to Leaving Cert students today by drinkaware.ie and the Road Safety Authority.

As more than 55,500 students prepare to collect their results, drinkaware.ie is encouraging them to celebrate responsibly.

“If you’re over 18 and choose to have a few drinks with friends to celebrate, the excitement of results night can make it easy to lose track of how much alcohol you’ve consumed,” said Fionnuala Sheehan, chief executive of drinkaware.ie.
