French to question 30 du Plantier witnesses

FRENCH police investigating the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier hope to glean fresh clues in new statements from 30 witnesses in west Cork next month.

French to question 30 du Plantier witnesses

The investigators will compare the new statements with statements the witnesses originally gave to gardaí during their investigations into the murder of the French citizen near Schull in December 1996.

A French police team is due to travel to Cork next month and, during a busy week, plan to interview around 30 witnesses connected to the murder investigation.
