Die-hard Premier League fans to shell out €5,500 following dreams of glory

DIE-hard football fans will spend around €5,500 attending all 19 home games of their favourite English Premier League team this season.

Analysis by Ulster Bank looked at the cost of a season ticket for one of the top four clubs — Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea — along with return travel, accommodation and spending money, and indicates a significant investment by fans in their love of the game.

It found supporters can expect to spend about €5,500 if they chose to attend all 19 of their favourite team’s home games.
