Tubridy insists decision to quit Twitter was his own

RYAN TUBRIDY has rejected any suggestion that he was forced by either RTÉ or BBC to abandon his highly popular Twitter account.

The TV and radio star insisted yesterday the decision to quit Twitter was entirely his own.

“There are no pressure from anyone at any time,” said the Late Late Show presenter. “The most important reason why I quit was time. I was finding myself checking the tweets and tweeting all the time before, after and during programmes.”
