Publican in charity pedal

A PUBLICAN is swapping pulling pints for peddling for a charity bike ride between two pubs.

More than 100 cyclists will join Ciaran Power for the 200km trip between Jacob’s Bar in Saggart, Co Dublin, and The Sin Bin in Limerick, owned by former Ireland rugby international Peter Clohessy.

A host of Irish rugby internationals, including Jerry Flannery, Kevin McLaughlin and Tony Buckley, have backed his plans to raise funds for the Children’s Sunshine Home and LauraLynn House, which care for children with life-limiting conditions.

The bike ride will take place on September 23 and 24.
