TAOISEACH Enda Kenny will be less accountable to the Dáil under changes to the parliamentary system, the opposition has alleged.

Government chief whip Paul Kehoe yesterday outlined a series of reforms which will take effect when the new Dáil term begins on September 14.

The proposals are aimed at making the Dáil “more efficient and effective”, and include extra sitting days and longer hours.
