Disability group wins plaudits

AN ORGANISATION providing services for people with disabilities in the south-east has received a four-year accreditation from the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL).

The approval for the Brothers of Charity Services South East comes after a review process lasting eight months that saw CQL personnel examine the group’s operations in Waterford, Kilkenny and Tipperary, where it has 600 full-and part-time staff and a growing number of volunteers.

The review by US-based CQL focused on how the charity works to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities through person-directed solutions.
