A VISITOR centre celebrating the life of GAA founder Michael Cusack has been thrown a lifeline.

GAA headquarters at Croke Park along with the Munster Council and Clare GAA have agreed in principle to a three-year marketing plan for the centre.

Without the funding from the GAA bodies, the centre — opened in 2007— could not survive against the background of a sharp drop in visitor income last year.
